Curriculum

Our curriculum provides developmentally appropriate learning opportunities to encourage your child to be confident, successful, life-long learners.   The early years are critical to your child’s growth and development. This is a time when children are eager to learn new skills, experience challenging opportunities, and be encouraged for their strengths and talents. We ensure every child is receiving the creative learning experiences they require and that they are developing physically, intellectually, and socially.  Our activities, games, and curriculum are all formulated to engage your child’s natural curiosity and provide a foundation for lifelong success.  Preparing your child to succeed is the core of our curriculum.

Our Curriculum Focus

In our classrooms, we include daily instruction and activities targeted toward these essential developmental areas:

CLASSROOMS AND AGES

Infants (6 Weeks – 1 Year)

Our experienced teachers and staff will take you by the hand and lead you through your first experiences of childcare. The love and attentiveness our staff commit to your baby is one of a kind. Our bright and clean nurseries will steal your heart. We understand that communication is essential. Along with talking to your baby's teacher, you will also receive a daily baby news that will explain naps, feedings, and diaper changes throughout your baby's day.

Toddlers (1-2 Years)

At this age, children are meeting new challenges as fast as they come. Weekly lesson plans keep our toddlers engaged with creative fun for each little busybody! Since so many milestones are reached during the toddler phase, our toddlers are developmentally separated to ensure safety and appropriate curriculum. Our toddler lesson plans include sign language, social interactions, verbal skills, story time, music, flash cards, and hands on art projects. Along with communication with our staff, you will receive a daily progress report on your child’s day.

Jr. Preschool (2–3 Years)

Our Jr. Preschool program is designed to be a beginning step for introduction to a structured daily curriculum. Lesson plans include sign language, along with number, letter, shape, and color recognition. Social skills such as empathy, taking turns, and respect for others are built on in this program. Creativity is explored through music, art and dramatic play, while investigating our world through various sensory activities. Teachers work with children to achieve self-confidence and competency in potty training. Every day you will receive a daily progress report highlighting your child’s academic and potty-training accomplishments.

Preschool (3-4 Years)

In our preschool classroom, we begin participating in more group activities to help develop social skills such as conflict resolution, empathy, and respect. We balance play time with structured activities and a consistent schedule. Lesson plans include beginning Spanish, sign language, problem solving, self-help, colors, numbers, shapes, letters, math, art, music, writing, and sorting. Each day you will receive a daily progress report highlighting your child ’s academic accomplishments.

Kinder Prep (4-5 Years)

Our kinder prep classroom is designed to help children transition to a kindergarten atmosphere smoothly. Our lesson plans provide a well-rounded education in reading, writing, science, art, math, social studies, and technology. Sign language and beginning Spanish are also included weekly. Children are academically evaluated on a regular basis and taught at skill levels tailored to their needs to ensure success. Each day you will receive a daily progress report highlighting your child ’s academic accomplishments.
